Regional RESULTS |
The Regionals held at Tri Lakes in
Zachary, Louisiana concluded mid day today, Sunday August 5th. The site
was beautiful, conditions were excellent and the hospitality extended to
both officials and contestants was second to none. Jay and Anne
Bennett went above and beyond the norm to provide everyone with an
outstanding tournament, great food, beautiful awards and a wonderful
experience for all who attended.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
HOTEL RESERVATIONS Cut off deadline is 7/5/2007! After this date
reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis
only!!! PLEASE BOOK EARLY!!
BANQUET If you do not commit to the banquet by the entry
deadline, we will have to assume you are not attending and you will not
be included in the final head count! The final head count is due 72
hours prior to the event!
PRACTICE There will be NO PAID PRACTICE or familiarization
after July 29th!

Regionals Event Schedule
July 20, 2007 Regional entries deadline. Remember to send
Official AWSA entry form (located in your guide), entry fee, Skier Bio
Sheet, camping fees, banquet guest fees ($25.00), and most
important
whether or not you will be attending the banquet!!!! (This is possibly
the most difficult
part of hosting the Regionals- please help us with a
head count the caterers want it two weeks
before the event!)
July 28-29, 2007 Regionals practice. $20.00 for 6 slalom
passes, 4 jumps or 6 trick passes.
There will be no site familiarization
the week of the tournament. Ski School will run thru Thursday
lunch and
drivers have the lake until dark on Thursday.
July 29 Aug. 2, 2007
Ski School.
August 2, 2007 (noon dark) Tow Boat Orientation and Set Up.
Thursday, August 2, 2007 - 7:30 PM Officials meeting and
party. Located pool side at Bennett home.
Friday, August 3, 2007
Membership meeting. On site at close
of tournament. Master Crafts Skier Party following the meeting at the
Pavilion on site.
Saturday, August 4, 2007 Skier Banquet. Banquet will be held
on Southern University Campus(directions located @ www.skibennetts.com,
click on SCR Regionals) @ 7:30 PM.
Sit down dinner, cash bar, awards
presentations, etc. Include payment for guests $25.00.
